Gold Gallery features emerging and mid-career artists from around the world, with a particular focus on Boston. It is with great eagerness that Gold Gallery joins the dynamic South End neighborhood, and we look forward to being part of your experience in the cultural richness that Boston has to offer.
Being a former South End resident, he knew opening a contemporary art gallery would add tremendous value to the neighborhood that he continues to love. Although his wife Rosemary, two kids and goldendoodle, Clementine, make it challenging to want to leave the house and risk missing even a moment or milestone, the gallery’s successes (and challenges!) continue to inspire his contributions to the arts and its role in this vibrant community.
Claire Carino’s gallery career began on Boston’s Newbury Street eight years ago. After graduating with a degree in Art History from Tufts University, she went on to earn her Master’s degree in Curatorial and Museum Studies through Christie’s Education, a program established by the famed auction house.
With a background in both the contemporary and secondary art market, Claire is deeply invested in promoting not only mid-career artists, but also giving emerging artists a platform to exhibit in a highly competitive market. While the gallery keeps her hands very full, Claire and her husband Blaise are thrilled to be making life even more crazy with the addition of a baby girl (aka future gallery intern) this winter.
